Next time you're passing through the deserts of Southwestern USA, stop by the Candlands' place for some comida Mexicana. Noel Candland and his son David own a restaurant chain in Arizona called "Mi Amigo's." I've never been, but everyone I know from Arizona sings its praises.
Noel is a descendent of David Candland and his wife Hannah. Noel is also the nephew of J. Willard Marriott.

Nice that David Candland (1819-1902) has a descendant being successful in the restaurant business. His valiant try with the Globe in SLC, and seeing the success of Noel and family, would surely please him.
