Candland Stepfather: Paramour Ashenden

David Candland (1819-1902) was one year old when his father Samuel passed away. His mother (Sarah Betts 1787-1858) remarried a man named Paramour Ashenden in 1824, so this was the man David and his siblings knew as their stepfather.
